Vincent Ricardel is a photographic artist whose career has spanned the editorial, commercial and fine art worlds of photography.  Throughout his career, he has blended his earlier photojournalistic style into his later work, creating a signature brand of photography that reflects his unique perspective.   Vincent’s images have been published worldwide.  His work is also displayed in numerous private collections throughout the United States and abroad.

With a background rooted in photojournalism, Vincent’s work retains a documentary nature, capturing moments that provoke curiosity and often find amusement in life’s unintentional comedy.  His artistic vision has earned him recognition and accolades among his audience. 

His work has appeared in numerous juried exhibitions throughout the United States. Vincent’s photographs were featured in the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art 2011 exhibit, “Guitar Heroes,” inspired by the book he co-authored, Arch Top Guitars: The Journey From Cremona to New York, for which he received GRAPHIS’ 2011 Best in Photography award.   In addition to New York, Vincent’s photographs have been shown in juried exhibitions in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Bellevue, Palm Springs and Palm Beach.  

Vincent has given numerous photography workshops and taught at the Center of Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University.  From 2017- 2021 he served as Senior Advisor at the National Endowment for the Humanities.  Vincent holds a B.A. from American University in Washington, DC.  He resides in Palm Beach, Florida and Alexandria, Virginia.
